    NUCAFE is a partner that facilitates our marketing, lobbying and advocacy efforts and promotes a farmer ownership model strategy. The partnership works on capacity building through farmer training, mentorship in export trade and coffee value addition. The organization has also helped us establish coffee buying partnerships across the globe (South Korea, Italy, South Africa and Uganda).

2. Rwenzori Sustainable Trade Centre (RSTC): www.rwenzorisustainable.org


RSTC provides the cooperative with financial resources in form of loans in order to enable coffee trading.

3. Trade for Development Centre (TDC) Enabel – Belgium: www.tdc-enabel.be

The TDC empowers the cooperative with capacity building on marketing, financial/funding and business management skills. The organization also supports the organizational development of the cooperative.

4. Fairtrade Africa/ Fairtrade International: www.fairtrade.org.uk

Fairtrade promotes fairness by linking our farmers to buyers and supports our community development through the payment of premiums that are gained through the selling of Fairtrade certified coffee.

5. Kabanero Mountainous Coffee Growers’ Cooperative

Kabonero is our sister cooperative and we collaborate in efforts for promoting new business ideas and the general organizational development of the two cooperatives.

Kabarole Research and Resource Centre (KRC): www.krcuganda.org

KRC is a regional partner operating in Kabarole district supporting the extension services along the coffee value chain. These activities involve training our farmers, which is carried out by their field officer in partnership with the cooperative, and they also supply hand pulpers to the cooperative, supporting coffee pulping activities.

This is a partner organization which facilitates the cooperative with capacity building, governance, funding and general organizational development.

Uganda Development Trust (UDET): www.udet.co.ug

UDET is an organization linked to the USADF and is responsible for the implementation and compliance of USADF’s projects in Uganda.

Twin Trading Company / Sustainable Harvest: www.sustainableharvest.com

Since 2014, Sustainable Harvest is our long-term Fairtrade certified coffee buyer which has supported our community development via the Fairtrade premiums.

Caffé River is a specialty coffee buyer that has bought our coffee since 2017.

Beansguru is a specialty coffee buyer from South Korea and has been our partner since 2018.
